Just when I said that an S Club 7 reunion is very unlikely, Rachel Stevens thinks it’s “definitely a possibility”. I don’t know how she meant that to be understood but they’ve all been quite nostalgic lately.
S CLUB 7 could be reaching for those stars all over again.
The poptastic-group want to make all their dreams come true once more with their very own Big Reunion-type comeback.
Revealing there ain’t no party like an S Club party, Rachel Stevens told me: “We met up not long ago and we talked about it and we still are talking about it.
“We are all in the same head space, talking about how special it was and we do all want to celebrate what we had. So it’s definitely a possibility.”
S Club were huge in the late 1990s and early 2000s – scoring 11 top ten hits and four number one singles.
Rachel, who went on to enjoy solo success, has recently taken time off the showbiz scene to have a baby girl.
She’s now back fronting Water Aid’s partnership with Belu to provide people in Africa with clean drinking water.
After returning from Ethiopia, Rachel said: “It sounds a cliché but it did make me realise how lucky we are.
“They have to drink dirty water – which will make them ill – just to survive.”
