S Club 7’s Thursday meeting has naturally sparked plenty of new reunion rumours. Here’s one of the many articles. What do you think? Was it just a genuine get-together to catch up or something more?
S Club 7 could full well be bringing it all back to us with a reunion if their latest Twitter antics are anything to go by!
The S Club stars have been getting a bit nostalgic over Twitter recently and with Hannah Spearritt revealing the gang were all back together again for some fun in the sun today, could we have another S Club party on our hands?!
Sharing a picture of the group in their S Club prime yesterday, Hannah tagged all her fellow band members – Jon Lee, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara – and it was clear the thought of seeing them again had made her excited.
“See y’all tomorrow S’s! @JonLee321 @realtinab1 @Paulcattermole1 @MsRachelStevens @BradleyMcIntosh @joomeara”, she tweeted.
Sending Twitter into a frenzy, Hannah’s tweet sparked reunion rumours with many fans wondering whether the chance of S Club 7 reforming was a hot topic of conversation between the famous faces.
One fan said: “This only could mean one thing..OMG.” Another one added: “OH MY S CLUB!! I think im gona faint!”
Since forming in the 90s, S Club had us reaching for the stars as they busted out hit after hit, including crowd pleasers ‘Don’t Stop Movin’, ‘Two In A Million’ and ‘Never Had A Dream Come True’.
But sadly, after S Club 7 became S Club thanks to Paul’s departure in 2002, our hearts were soon broken when the band decided to call it a day a year later.
Now 10 years on and thanks to S Club’s Twitter teases, however, we’ve got everything crossed S Club 7 will do a Take That and we’ll be reliving our youths for one more time.
Last month, Rachel didn’t exactly rule out a reunion while appearing on Lorraine. The brunette beauty said that if they could get all seven S Clubbers to commit, a reunion could possibly be on the cards…
Rachel explained: “Everyone’s busy off doing their thing, but it’s always bubbling in the background about us getting back together…it’s always quite difficult getting seven diaries together, but it would be fun!”
Eek!
We’ll just have to keep waiting, ’til that day when, S Club comes back on home to us…
